Live music every night. It's loud and busy, but very fun. The menu has something for everyone, even the pickiest eaters. The smoked fish dip is legit. The kiddos loved the fish pretzel.

After a day at the beach, we stopped at Frenchy's. It was hopping on a Sunday evening around 9, with a loud, festive vibe. Fortunately, we only waited five minutes when we were told it might be 15 to 20. Our food came out quickly fortunately for us being very hungry The crab soup we had was absolutely delicious. It was flavorful with a velvety texture. I had to restrain myself from licking the bowl. My boyfriend had the shrimp tacos and I had the mahi-mahi sandwich. Both were excellent. The shrimp tacos had fresh mango on them. A perfect light, late night bite. But of course he wanted dessert so then we had the churros a la mode. That was probably one of the best desserts I ever had my whole life. The churros were light & crispy with some kind of creamy filling which perfectly complemented the vanilla ice cream with chocolate syrup. I will definitely be returning to Frenchies.

Visited during spring break. Had to wait an hour because we have a large group which was totally OK. When we got seated, unfortunately, we were at two separate tables. The waitress seemed annoyed and the service was subpar. Food was good, but not stellar. Would come back just for the view.

This is a perfect location. It's right next to big parking lot, which is great. It gets busy but very much worth the wait. It was chilly out and we loved that they have heaters. We didn't eat here, but the drinks were delicious. My old fashioned was GREAT and the price was also excellent. Will definitely return to try the food. It gets a lil loud, but nothing that prevents a conversation.

Amazing service, great food. My wife and I both had the Grouper sandwiches, Mine Cajun style and her's plain grilled. Both were done perfectly with amazing flavor. I would highly recommended stopping here. 5+ stars

Frenchy's Rockaway is a great place to grab a bite on the beach in Clearwater. It's large enough for groups, and the food comes out quick enough to accommodate & flip the long lines waiting at the bar. I opted for the "World Famous Grouper Sandwich," and it was just that: delicious! The flavor was uber fresh, nice and flaky, and left me wanting more! The jalapeño hush puppies were fire- the perfect start. He ordered the juiciest burger- and was completely satisfied. We had just enough room for a slice of authentic key lime pie. Our server, Kevin, was awesome. We will definitely be back!

So glad we found this restaurant on Yelp. Saw a review about having table in sand and good food, so I navigated here from the Marina. Less than 10 min drive, parking was scarce (but I got a spot), & put us on the waitlist upon arrival (had a 20-30 min wait). Not sure that we waited 20 min...used the restroom, ordered a drink at the bar, met the kiddos on the beach, sat down, & immediately got a call that my table was ready. Asked for a table in the sand and was so excited to watch my daughter build a sand castle while we waited on the food. Left my Crocs off while I played with the sand running thru my toes looking out at the beach. We ordered 3 kids' meals, Cali Beach tacos, and crab fries. Everything was great except the Pepsi products, the lemonade and Sierra Mist just don't hit. Great experience to end our visit to the Bay Area.

Come for the beach....stay for the crab cakes. A lively spot on the beach. Great for groups. Awesome beers. I had the Florida Orange IPA. $6.00 I wish I could eat those crab cakes every day. They run their own fish company, so you are guaranteed fresh daily. The staff is great. Unfortunately, the parking lot is under construction. The noise is awful. It should be done by March 1st.

First stop in Clearwater Beach for eats was Frenchy's Rockaway...one of our go to places. The Super Grouper was awesome as always, the SheCrab Soup tasty, and the Blackened Rockaway Chicken was spicy. They're recovering from the hurricanes yet but the service and their attitudes were positive!
